About Me
Dogs are my life and they always have been – just ask my poor parents! As a child I was so keen to be around dogs that we borrowed them from our neighbours. I had to wait until I was 12 to finally walk a dog of my own. Our Parsons Russell terrier, Ruby, is the sweetest, yet sassiest dog I know. Walking her became one of my favourite hobbies and I would find every opportunity to explore the Vale. The Vale of Belvoir is beautiful and has so many walks to offer and even though I have lived here my whole life, I’m still finding new ones!
When Tigger joined the family my love of dogs evolved into a deep interest in their behaviour. Tigger is a whippet and the love of my life. He is extremely worried by everything due to his difficult start in life. It became my mission to make sure that his walks were fun, yet also relaxing. I have learnt many techniques, which I now use with your dogs that make the walks more exciting and engaging. This helps to build a trusting relationship. I also attend Ruff Diamond’s dog training classes in Grantham with Tigger and have done so for five years. I began volunteering with my dog trainer at weekends and love helping other dogs build their confidence. These classes promote positive training and healthy socialisation, which is what I believe in at Trek and Pace.
Whilst at the University of Nottingham, I started volunteering at Dogs Trust and loved every minute. Walking the dogs gave me the opportunity to meet many different breeds and temperaments. Some liked to appreciate the scenery with a gentle patter of paws, whereas others would be on a mission with their nose to the ground. Once I graduated, I applied for a Level 3 Animal Management course that would improve both my practical skills and my knowledge.
So, what started as a childhood obsession and evolved into a personal mission with Tigger has led me to creating Trek and Pace, where I tailor walks to suit the individual dog’s needs. Whether that be taking them on a group walk adventure or having a peaceful walk on their own with me.

My Services
- Duration: 1 hour (length of time is adjustable).
- These can be regular or occasional.
- These are perfect for those dogs who love to play and socialise. If you're interested in a group walk, get in touch.
Group Dog Walks
Single Dog Walks
- Duration: 1 hour (length of time is adjustable).
- These can be regular or occasional walks (Weekends included).
- I will come to your home to pick up your dog/s and take them on a walk. The walk will be adapted to their needs and they will receive engagement to enrich their time with me.
Home Visits
- Duration: 30 minutes.
- This service is for those who need someone to visit their dog/s, for example, to give them some company, let them outside or feed them.
- This service is really useful if you have a puppy who can't go on long walks but needs a cuddle and a play.
- Also available for other pets that need checking/feeding during the day or holidays.
- Duration: Half/Full day and/or Overnight.
- This service is perfect for when you want to go for a day trip, a weekend away or a 7 day holiday.
- I will come and stay with your dog at your home and treat them to a relaxing staycation!
Day and/or Night Sitting
Vet Trips
- Duration: Variable (dependent on appointment type).
- This service will enable your dog to attend appointments at any time of day.
- I will collect and return your dog safely.
